# Beacon56 > UK care home data. A monthly file of every newly registered UK care provider, with the registered manager's name, direct work email, and phone number where findable. Built for companies that sell into the UK care sector. Also written as "Beacon 56". Website: https://www.beacon56.co.uk/ Operated by: Duncan Murtagh, trading as DKDM Limited, based outside Dublin, Ireland Source data: Care Quality Commission (England), Care Inspectorate (Scotland), Care Inspectorate Wales, all under the Open Government Licence. ## What Beacon56 is The public care registers list every regulated care provider in the UK, but they contain no email addresses. Beacon56 takes those registers each month, isolates the newly registered care providers, enriches each row with the registered manager's direct work email and phone number, and delivers a clean CSV. The product is a flow of newly registered providers, not a live tracked database of all providers. Around 156 new care providers register across the UK each month, spanning care homes with nursing, care homes without nursing, domiciliary care, supported living, extra care housing, and shared lives. ## What is in the monthly file 1. **New CQC registrations, captured each month.** CQC publishes an updated registry every month. Beacon56 isolates every newly registered care provider and passes them on. Around 156 new providers UK-wide per month. 2. **Enriched with the manager's contact details.** For each new provider, the registered manager's name is taken from CQC (present on around 90% of rows), then a direct work email and phone number are found. Typical hit rate: around 62% of rows get a working email. Where no direct manager email is findable, the company's general contact email is included. 3. **England, Scotland and Wales in one file.** England updates monthly straight from CQC. Scotland (via Care Inspectorate) and Wales (via Care Inspectorate Wales) are folded in when their separate regulators publish, which is less predictable. Northern Ireland is regulated by RQIA and is not currently covered. 4. **Delivered as a clean CSV, ready to use.** No spreadsheet cleaning, no chasing down contact details, no wrestling with the CQC file format. Ready to upload straight to a CRM or drop into an outreach tool. ## Backfill on day one A new customer's first file includes every newly registered UK care provider since 31 January 2026. As of late 2026 that is roughly a thousand providers, and it grows each month. After that, a fresh file lands every month with the latest registrations. ## Fields on every row - Registered manager name - Direct work email - Phone number - Company name - Company website - Registration date - Service type - Service user type - Local Authority / area - Full address and postcode - CQC Location ID - CQC rating, where the provider has been inspected All emails are work emails at company domains, verified at the time the file is delivered. Personal addresses such as Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo are excluded. Where a direct manager email cannot be found, the company's general contact email is included instead. ## Who buys this - **Care sector software suppliers.** Rostering, care planning, medication management, and payroll vendors. Newly registered providers have no incumbent system to displace. - **Insurance brokers and financial services.** Every new care provider needs employers' liability, public liability, and professional indemnity cover from day one. - **Training and compliance providers.** Safeguarding, manual handling, and medication administration training are legal requirements for new providers. - **Specialist recruitment agencies.** New providers need staff, and the registered manager is reachable early. ## Why not use the raw CQC file, or a dashboard on top of it The raw CQC register is a 56,000-row spreadsheet covering every regulated service in England, including hospitals, GPs, and dentists. It has no email addresses anywhere and no straightforward way to isolate the care segment. Cleaning and enriching it is days of work before a single call gets made. Dashboards built on top of the same public data (for example CareHomeData at £199 per year) provide search and segmentation but do not include manager emails, direct phone numbers, or any contact enrichment. They are research tools rather than outreach data. Beacon56 fills that gap. ## Pricing Prices range from **£200 for a one-off list** to **£2,500 per year for the monthly feed**. Wider scope, historical backfills, and custom slices (by region, service type, provider size, or any other filter) are available on request. No setup fees, no long contracts, cancel any month. The one-off option is typically a filtered slice for a specific job, for example a regional list of care homes for a discrete outreach campaign. The annual monthly feed is the recurring product for vendors doing continuous outreach. The scope can be widened on request to include private doctor consultations, mobile doctors, diagnostic services, and dental, which roughly doubles the monthly volume. ## Frequently asked questions **Where does the data come from?** All care home data comes from the CQC public register (England), Care Inspectorate (Scotland), and Care Inspectorate Wales, published under the Open Government Licence. Beacon56 isolates the newly registered providers each month, then enriches each row with the manager's contact details. **How often is the file delivered?** Monthly. CQC publishes its updated registry every month, usually the second week. The release is pulled, the new registrations are isolated, they are enriched with the manager's contact details, and the file is sent within a few days. Scotland and Wales are added when their separate regulators publish, which is less predictable. **How fresh are the emails?** Every email is verified at the time the file is delivered. Beacon56 finds fresh contacts for freshly registered providers each month rather than maintaining a stale base list, so the whole file is newly enriched each time. **What kind of emails do you find?** Direct work emails at the provider's own domain are prioritised, for example name@carehomename.co.uk. Personal addresses (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo) are excluded. Where a direct manager email is not findable, the company's general contact email is included. Typical hit rate on real files: around 62% of rows get a working email. **What service types are included?** Standard scope is UK care providers: care homes (with and without nursing), domiciliary care, supported living, extra care housing, and shared lives. Roughly 156 new registrations across those categories UK-wide each month. Widening the filter to include private doctor consultations, mobile doctors, diagnostic services, or dental is available on request and roughly doubles monthly volume. **What about Northern Ireland?** Not currently covered. NI care providers are regulated by RQIA, a separate body with a separate data feed. **How is this different from other UK care data products?** The raw CQC register is free but has no contact details. Dashboards on top of it, such as CareHomeData at £199 per year, provide search and segmentation but still no emails or phone numbers, so a sales team cannot actually reach anyone. Beacon56 fills that gap with the registered manager's name, a direct work email verified at delivery, and a phone number where findable. Ready for outreach on day one. **Can I see a sample before deciding?** Yes. A 15-minute call can be booked at https://www.beacon56.co.uk/#book and a recent delivery file is sent after. **Is this GDPR compliant?** The source data is published under the Open Government Licence. The enriched contact details are business contact information for registered professionals acting in a professional capacity, which falls within legitimate interest for B2B outreach. Buyers with specific compliance requirements should still take their own legal advice. ## About Beacon56 (also written Beacon 56) is run by Duncan Murtagh, based just outside Dublin, Ireland. Duncan has been working with the CQC data file since 2024 and has been building software and data products since 2011.
